RVCC to Host Webinar on Holocaust Remembrance

In commemoration of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), the Institute of Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Raritan Valley Community College will present “Meaningful Moments and Holocaust Remembrance with Maud Dahme and NJEA teachers Tamara Beatty and Lisa Hann,” May 2, 2024, from 7-8 p.m.

The event is free of charge and open to the public.

The program will feature an online panel discussion with Holocaust survivor Maud Dahme and NJEA teachers Tamara Beatty and Lisa Hanna. The educators joined Dahme and 28 other NJEA teachers in July 2023 for a 10-day NJ Holocaust Commission trip to Poland, The Netherlands, Prague, and Berlin.

During the May 2 webinar, the women will share their reflections from their trip and discuss how they are implementing what they learned about Holocaust remembrance into their classroom curriculum.
