The recently revived Campus Fitness Club met at the Involvement Fair on Tuesday, 20 September 2022 in hopes of recruiting new members.

“We workout, we lift, we play games & we help people reach their fitness goals,” said club president Sydney Lehrer.

The club officially meets officially on Thursdays during college hour and also has unofficial meetings on Tuesdays during college hour and on Mondays and Wednesday from 8:00 AM-11 AM.

“My hopes are that the re-start of the Fitness Club gets people on campus more excited about working out, engaging physical activity, even if they’re not on a sports team and making sure they’re taking care of their whole self, mind, and spirit,” said Director of Student Life Russell Barefoot.

The club also hopes to do a lift-a-thon fundraiser at some point this year, which would be an event where you can get someone to sponsor you as a weightlifter and whenever you set a personal record in lifting, whether that be on the bench press or squatting, then your sponsor would donate a certain amount of money to the Fitness Club.
